Cottage cheese is absoulutely awful!

Debu - I just microwave them and then mix the cottage cheese in afterwards.

Robert Jan - Cottage cheese isn't like normal cheese. It's an good source of casein protein, about 20 or so grams in a cup and low to 0 fat depending on the type you buy. A good night time meal too, since it's slow absorbing.

It tastes nothing like regular cheese, one reason a lot of people either love it or hate it. I've been eating it since I was little, so I can take it plain or in some bizarre mix.

I can't stand the taste of cottage cheese all that much either, even though I can spoon it down.

Here's what I do:

1. Blend 2 cups with 6-8 oz of water until smooth. Then pour and scrape out into a bowl. NEXT...the best part:p ...add some fat/sugar free Chocolate Jell-o pudding mix to the C.C. and mix. I usually pour about half the package in...hehehe. The chocolate pudding idea I got from cockdezl from the diet board...can't take full credit:D ...BTW, i've only ever tried choco flavor.

2. Blend it with water, protein mix and PEANUT BUTTER into a shake! The P.B. is the kicker. You can't even taste the cottage cheese.

3. Hiding it in pastas and beans I do as well, as has already been stated.

***Thought the first 2 might be worth sharing.
