Hey bros, I was wondering what corticosteroids can do to a bodybuilder. Can they make you lose muscle or do they just do nothing to you? It is a turbuhaler. Thanks.

Yes,they are catabolic.Why are you taking them,joint inflamation?

I can't say that I know exactly which corticosteroid is in a turbuhaler. It sounds like an inhaled steroid though, right? If so look at the dosage on it. It's probably measured in mcgs per spray. At such low doses an inhaled corticosteroid will have next to no effect on your gains. Again I'm not sure about the particular drug or dosage with a turbuhaler. If it is an oral/injectable measured way up into mgs range, then this info is incorrect.

Joint inflamation? Uhh no, to get rid of a cough. It is a powder that you inhale. Are you sure it is catabolic because it doesn't even sound like you know what it is.
LOL,corticosteroids are derivitives of CORTISOL.

LOL I didn't even read your name huck. I know you know what your talking about because you have really helped me out a lot on here, but there a lot of dumb asses on here that pretend they know what they are talking about.
If it's just small,trace amounts,then catabolic activity will be very minimal.The oral/injectible cortico's(taken for joint inflammation)are VERY catabolic.
