H harhar New member Apr 13, 2005 #2 Pears have VERY low GI. Its better than apples/oranges. I think the GI was around 8-20 or something.

V view New member Apr 13, 2005 #4 most fruits are very low gi, but that doesn't tell the whole story. as we know they are not ideal for restoring muscle glycogen. that said i still ahve a couple of pieces of fruit per day.
