comming back from shoulder injury

need some help. had 3 bone spurs taken out of shoulder in oct. 04. trying to get back in the gym. doctor doesn't want me back in for anouther couple months but i can't take it. it has been off and on injury for 2 yrs. so what kinda advice do you have on recovery routine. do the muscle stims work for this type injury and what is a good cycle(if any) for comming off and injury.

Raffaz is right, ur body needs time to heal, if you dont give it time your just going to pay the price later. Get rubber bands and start doing Pt to build up the muscles around the joint. Best advice you can get, if ur going nuts hit the cardio, and abs, and legs, until the shoulder is ready
 
thanks for all the comments guys. i already have the rubber bands and was doing that untill they didn't really cause any more pain. thats when i started doing a few pushups and curls at the house. i can use moderate weight at the gym without too much pain. i know better than to go heavier. again thanks for all the help and since i just started using the board again from this long layoff i don't know what karma is. could someone explain to me..
