You guys gotta remember, its no use recruiting all thugs and bodyguards.

Killers are what do the damage.

I only have 21,000 folks, but 95% of them are killers armed with aks.

You get more defensive units if you recruit Thugs & Bodyguards

I think I read 1 killer = 5 thugs/bodyguards (as far as badassness goes).

Interesting. I always recruit killers and smugglers cause those smugglers can make me over 1 mil in 3 turns.

I have spent over 35mil on ak's

I make some drugs, but I steal more...mainly because cash comes with it which I can use to buy more weapons.

anytime i choose attack it puts me in the top 100 to attack and they all have like 40,000 defensive units

On the left side go to rankings.

Choose by city.

Find yourself on the list, then attack everyone below you. ;)

Lol i had my other accounts set up to be stole from to give my other char cars but when i tried it said attack logged, multiple accounts forbidden

I have 360 cars there and enough drugs to be worthy to steal. I sold all weapons so ignore the defensive's.

Otherwise they will probably take us all out, because right now, our cartel is pretty shitty :)

Yeah killers are badass but you want a mix. When you are attacked or attack someone the weakest ones die first, so the bodyguards die, and your killers are saved. You can recuit lots of bodyguards with few turns.

It's also really slow only recruiting killers, you want to be able to swell up your DU's so that it discourages people from attacking you.

We aren't too bad now. I started a few days late. If we can get a good cartel going at the start of the session We should do real well.

yeah just use this round to build experience.
 
ok are there any other things I should work on ...my du's suck but everthing else seems to be ok ...I found that arming my guys with AK's was a good idea

build as many DU's armed with AKs as possible, the last 2 days or so of the round get pretty crazy and all cartels start actively taking each other out to try to reach #1....

I think thugs and bodyguards both count toward defensive units, so that's the quickest way to build them. Killers are the best offensive unit.

Killers work at defenders as well.


I like having around 25,000 killers and the rest bodyguards and thugs....
