college apps and criminal records

I'm applying to a program that's asking me to name everything I've been convicted of. The thing is it's not a required question, so theoretically I could just leave it blank and act like I never saw it; this way I'm not actually lying. I'm really tempted to do this, but obviously if they find out I have some shit I'm probably screwed. Do y'all think a school in California would find a misdemeanor in Virginia?

Don't worry about a misdemeanor, they can't even track them within my own state between counties. DUI's are one exception but that's just a couple of neighboring states and depending on the county it still might never hit the grid, thank Jesus for government incompetence.:) I have a disorderly conduct from my 21st b-day that only shows up in the county I plead no contest and paid the fine.

I never bothered to add my offenses, minor consumption tickets. and nothing ever came of it. They probably don't care that much or want to spend the money to actually check anyway.

i didnt get charged for my fake ID....i was going to get alcohol possession of a minor but i plead guilty and i think it got reduced to some town ordinance for conduct.
