coconut oil

Hmm... Why would one choose flax over coconut or other oils? Benefits? One better than the other(s)?

Has this already been asked like 100 times... ?

Yup and the fact that I can get it down without feeling like I'm going to toss my cookies well in this case my chicken, everytime I take it.

I'm sure I would have the same reaction to flax as you hun...

As far as the co'nut oil, I guess as long as it doesn't taste like you're drinking Sun Tan oil :)

LOL I have yet to cook my chicken in anything except lemon pepper seasoning.... and that's getting pretty darn rowdy!

coconut oil = MCTs (Medium Chain Triglycerides) - tastes good

Flax oil = used for its omega3s content - can taste like *ss

I must really be weird. I love downing my one tablespoon of flax oil. I think I just like grease in any form. :)

MCTs can actually have a bit of a thermogenic effect in larger quantities too. But it's a sat. fat with less actual nutritional benefit
