Benefits-Some intrinsic anti-E activity like nolvadex(but no where near as effective in mammary tisue).
Downside-May desensitize the hypothalamus and pituitary to it's uptake post-cycle when you need it most to help re-initialize T production.
BTW,it will not keep GnRH/LH production going in a presence of heavy androgens,as it does not bind A/R's only E/R's.
Save it for post-cycle.
