Cloaking your affiliate links -- Here's how!

From my personal experience site wide sales tend to be down by 10% when I do not cloak my links. With tha being said I just make a habit of cloaking all new affiliate links that I add to my website. If I had to guess, I know some affiliate links can appear a little suspicious so people might think an affiliate link is actually a link to some form of malware site.

George, is this recommended? Do customers really get turned off, i.e., has it been researched or is it a general rule for net gurus? I know you've been in the game longer than I have so you would probably know. Currently, the EF program is converting quite well, but I might go ahead and cloak the links if it will help.
