cleaning in the heat

I cleaned my car today in 90+ degree heat. I had sweat pouring off of me. It was enough to motivate me to put an A/C unit in my room!

Heat is heat - I think it is hysterical when people say "but it is a dry heat". Yes, humidity sucks ass. I would take "dry heat" over humiditry any day.

But when it is 120 degrees in the shade and you can't open your car door because it burns your hand .... that sucks. Going swimming doesn't help, because you dry off the second you step out of the pool.

Try standing with your face 2 inches from a hair dryer on high for a couple minutes. You'll get a small sense of Vegas in the summer. The heat and hot wind hits you and totally takes your breath away.

God, I love it. ;)

I would love to visit, but live there...no. I like my New Years with snow all over.
