The trainer in the gym recomended me for clean my body, colon { I have constipation, I'm going on the restroom only 3-4x at week} .that good way is try eat all day only fruits what do you thinking about it? is it good idea try eat big amount fruits...it's not too much sugar??

Have you always had bowel movements 3-4x per week or did that just suddenly start??

Check with your doctor before you do anything like that....

I have this problem long time, maybe 6 months. But is very unconfortable, because my stomach is bigger, I don't feel good. what do you think about fruit day?? Is it not good idea?

Is here possibility that my calorie intake is low {1200 cal daily} long time, I'm dieting long time maybe over one year.

based on your pictures, I'd say you need to up the cals just a bit. And space your meals out over the day, till you're getting about 6 meals a day, it will help with poo timing. Stay away from fiber supplements, IMO too concentrated all at once. Best if you include green veggies and maybe some fibrous wheat sources with each meal. Oatmeal is great so is broccorri.

I can understand how uncomfortable it is to be constipated....not a good feeling....

I just don't see the benefit of colon cleansing when you can simply eat more fiber in your daily diet.....

As long as your doctor has checked you out & hasn't diagnosed any medical issues, why don't you just make sure you are eating enuf fiber??

Add 1-2 tblsp. of Flax meal to pancakes/cereals/oatmeal
Beans
Lots of veggies -- dark greens, dark lettuces, broccoli, etc

Plus, 1.200 cals per day is awfully low....

why you don't recomended "fiber suplements"?
taday I ate oatmeal 1/2 cup...it's 25g carbs..from this {4g} fiber
oat bran 2x 1/4 cup 20 carbs...from this {14g} fiber
cereals Fiber one 1/4 cup 12 carbs... {7g} fiber
a lot of green lettuce........ ??? fiber
1 low carb toast 7carbs... {2}

but I think that for this day it work good, I was on bathroom already upiiii!!

but one more question...daily I count everythink what I eat...so right now I ate 64 g carbs...but from this 25 g FIBER, so if someone is on low carb diet must he count as daily carb intake 64 g or only 39 g {64-25g carbs}.

How is it??

thanks a lot

I think upping the daily caloric intake and fiber would be a good idea....but one day (even a few days) of eating a lot of fruit won't kill your diet (it sounds like a rather yummy idea!). Many people do have one day a week where they up the calories, eat whatever they want, etc.

keliska, subtract your fiber carbs from total carbs, then you will get your net carbs. You would only count 39 carbs from your example. This is because fiber cals are not converted to glucose. It is also important to understand the role of SOLUBLE and INSOLUBLE fibers... insolubles are largely just to keep things moving through you "regularly" whereas soluble fibers provide a host of health benefits not so much associated with regularity. It is said that soluble fiber binds to bile and cholesterol secreted during digestion preventing them from being reabsorbed and thus lowering blood cholesterol levels.
As for why I don't like fiber supplements, they are largely insoluble fiber. This fiber is most effective spread out over the day instead of taken in one large does once a day. I'm not saying you're better off without fiber, but I do think you'd be better off splitting up a dose over the course of the day. Your system also has a tendency to adapt to these high doses of fiber supplements and you can end up with constipation sometimes when you stop using them

hope i helped a bit
