Cholesterol Information

Now I know this board is about AS but this sorta relates...I know someone who is experiencing high cholesterol levels. Normal pharmaceuticals aren't working as well as a healthy diet. The drugs he's on causes muscle soreness, although, he doesn't lift. My questions are two things:

1. Is there anything on the black market that helps block muscle soreness?

2. Any kind of drugs that are good for lowering cholesterol levels?

It's strange because he looks, very much in shape. How do AS's effect cholesterol levels???

I had high cholesterol in my early years of high school.

Watching what you eat is the KEY!

As for blocking muscle soreness, that's impossible as far as I know.

However, Vicodine, Tylenol w/Codeine, etc will all help alleviate the pain. Tell your doc and he should write a script.
