Chinese food good or bad?

It's better than Chinese "fried" rice.
Although they use a wok to stir fry all of their veggies and meats for the most part. I consider it a mildly bad food, it's a hell of a lot better than Burger King or any other fast food chain. Just don't get any fried/breaded Asian food. That's going to be loaded with empty calories and fats. The thinner and more watery the sauce is the less it's going to have fat in it. You may also be able to ask for brown rice as a substitute. I get this at a Thai restaurant that I go to in my town and it's really good with basil chicken or garlic chicken.

MSD sucks!

I love Chinese food when I cook it myself!

Sesame Chicken

Makes 4 servings- 29 grams protein-trace carbs

1 lb. skinless,boneless chicky breasts

Marinade:

1-2 tbs. LOW-sodium tamari soy sauce.to taste
1 tsp.peeled and finely minced ginger
1 tsp. minced garlic
1 TBS. dry sherry
2 tbs. pure pressed sesame oil
1 tbs. minced fresh cilantro
dash of cayenne pepper
2 tbs. raw sesame seeds

Rinse chicky under cold water and pat dry. Cut chicky into 1 1/2 inch pcs.

In a small bowl, using fork, combine soy sauce, ginger, garlic, sherry, sesame oil, cilantro, cayenne pepper. Mix WELL. Add chicky pcs. and coat well. Marinate, refrigerate, at least 2 hours, turn every once in awhile.

Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Remove chicky from marinade and arrange on a greased baking sheet. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and bake ,uncovered, until cooked thru, about 7-10 minutes, turning once. Broil for the last minute to brown,if disered.Serve warm over brown rice.

Enjoy!

The stuff they sale in the cheap restaurants is likely not very good for you. Make it at home using olive and nut oils, low sodium sauces, and lean cuts of meat.

Chinese food is about as bad for u as mcdonald's. Don't believe me? There was a recent study done on it... do a search.. the numbers were unbelievable, even for veggie dishes. And if you get anything like general tso's or something fried..the fat is worse than a big mac.

Exactly! Just about everything is cooked in oil....

It just depends what you order.
There are plenty of non fried foods they serve
that have 0 added anything to them.

The other day I went to a chinese buffet for my cheat meal. They served fried things like prawn toast, battered mushrooms, but you just have to avoid all that like the plague. I stuck to good old chicken curry, pork in sweet and sour, (Scooping onto my plate more meat than sauce ;) ) brown rice with chicken mixed in, also things like peppered chicken wings, chinese style ribs.

I have no idea of the nutritional values of this, but since I got a shit load of protein, and it was a one-off, it doesn't really bother me too much. It was all delicious but it'll be a while before I have it again, I KNOW it's bad, in comparison.

Lets says if you get chicken with broccoli and white rice ?
This should be fine. Chinese food is not entirely bad. Just pay attention to what exactly you order. Nothing fried or prepared in excessive sauce. Brown rice may be available, but plain white rice (not fried in any way, just plain) is fine. I often order from the Chinese restaurant I patronize the most a dish of spare ribs (done quite well, with some bbq sauce but not too much), rice, and bok choi (delicious green veggies that look like a cross between spinach and celery). It's very tasty.

Everyone knows Chinese food is bad news
I used to pig out on Chinese food once a week whilst on a low carb diet and still lost a massive amount of bodyfat. I believe its a treat food, once in a while. Now i am bulking i still have it just once every 2 weeks.
My bodyfat is about 13% whilst bulking so I am no sumo.

chinees food is crap.

What Americans have done to Chinese food is CRAP. Real Chinese food is extremely healthy!

fish
chicken
lean beef
garlic
ginger
soy sauce
in season veggies
brown rice
olive oil

Plus they VERY rarely eat desserts and drink tons of green tea which is full of antioxidents.

My husband is Chinese and his side of the family are a bunch of health nuts. My side (redneck) obesity and heart disease runs ranpant! Everynight after a dinner of chicken fried steak we would eat icecream! LOL! When he was little they got a piece of fruit for dessert.

Real Chinese food is quite healthy.

Any chinese food u buy from a resturant is gonna be heavy in salt and msg not to mention fried in oil. It is also cooked with fish oil which is also heavy in salt. If u want chinese food cook it at home where u are able to control what goes into the food. I am korean so i know how the food is prepared. The food made in resturants is made a certain way for american tastes. At home we make our food a lot differently

There are numerous amounts of fitness exercises that you can do to improve your fitness level. Depending on what you want to achieve, you can go to do simple exercises you can do already and do not need any special equipment to join a gym and use more specialized equipment.

Once you have taken the time to determine your goals of health and fitness, the best way to decide what fitness exercises you want to do is follow the five components of fitness (cardiovascular, muscular endurance, muscular strength, flexibility and composition body).

Here is a look at some exercises you can do for each component.

1.) For cardiovascular health, the best exercises are aerobic exercises. In other words, an exercise that is of low intensity, but requires a large amount of oxygen for an extended period. In general, aerobic activity should last at least 20 minutes. Of course, there are many recreational activities that are enjoyable and aerobic in nature. Some examples are: running, swimming, cycling, skating, dancing and walking speed. Apart from these activities, one of the easiest ways to get a good aerobic workout is to get an aerobic workout video. A simple Internet search should provide more than enough options.

For artists and athletes, it may be necessary to separate the next two components of fitness. But for ordinary people, it is probably not necessary, but of course, you can work on each component separately if desired.

Two.) Muscular endurance exercises are the opposite of cardio (aerobic). From muscle endurance exercises are anaerobic, which means they have a high intensity for a short period of time so you do not require a lot of oxygen. Some examples of exercises to help you improve your muscular endurance are pushups, sit-ups, push-ups, sprints, circuit strength training high repetition.
