Child Killer's Request to Donate Organs 'Uncharted Territory' - ABC News
Interesting situation. Giving inmates on death row a chance for redemption (doing something good before or after they die) means they have the ability for redemption and inmates on death row are supposed to be beyond redemption.
I think this man is a sociopath and trying to delay his execution since you can't really do anything with organs that have died from lethal injection but he is also offering a kidney too which means he would go give it first while alive, then recover etc. But then he's done something good for someone, (even tho it's likely really for himself) that puts him in redemptive category.
Even if he isn't redemptive and an evil asshole even evil asshole's organs work. Not giving someone the opportunity to save someone's life doesn't seem right.
Course the state could go into the organ harvesting of inmates business, too
