The movie, "Casino" was based on a true story. Pesci played Chicago's Outfit King of Vegas: Anthony "The Ant" Spilotro in this movie. After he pissed off the higher ups back in Chicago, him and his brother were found buried in a cornfield in Indiana in 1986. Autopsies revealed that they were in fact buried alive after a brutal beating. The current Mayor of Vegas represented Spilotro as his defense lawyer back in the day. Vegas is "Sin City" indeed.
