Ok, i keep hurting my chest even when i did light weight? U guys think I am doing something wrong or do i just need to increase the decca dossage from 500mg/week to say 750mg week. By the way i keep hurting same spot right where the deltoid and pecs muscles join together.

Up the dose.... NO.

You have a imbalance in your rear delt, you have a tight delt/pec tie-in, etc.

What you need to do is take a tennis ball and massage the upper peck where it ties in to the delt - it will be very painful, but very productive. This should solve your problems.

Also - lay off pressing for a week or so and focus on RC work, and getting all that built up crap out of your delts/pecs. Pressing meaning chest or delt work in it's entirity - no pressing, no accessory fluff work. Just focus on your back squat and a few pulls (deads, power cleans, etc)

Been of for a week now, I do not feel anypain anymore but i am scared to work out chest again, afraid i might just tear it up. Also when i got hurt I was actually doing one hand dumbell press and when i was going to do the rep i actually moved my left arm from its originall position, and after that pain. I don't mind the pain I just wanna get back recovered. I guess more rest.

Seriously man get a GOOD chiropractor who works with alot of atheletes. Mine has helped me save my shoulders and forearms and everything else in between.

the deca could be masking a more serious problem, if you have pain you should see physician and have it checked to make sure you do not have muscle tear

good luck to you

Give this a try, bro. It saved my shoulder and written by the man himself (Charles Poliquin):

Great advice, I was about to recommend about the same, only with super light dumbells, high reps and of course, controlled motion, as a warm up prior to chest and shoulder workouts.

Super slow, deep range of motion d/b presses too. Many b/bldrs don't press deep enough, resulting in chest and shoulder injuries.

When doing dumbell press is it possible that u might hurt ur chest because u go to far down? I think thats what happened to me. Did some high reps/light weight I did not feel any pain so I guess I should go heavy now or should I just give it some more time, been almost 10 days since I got hurt.

Go see a doc. Get an X-Ray and MRI. Then what ever it is take it from there. I was suffering from the same thing and tore my pec. Then rehab and am now able to do regular chest workouts. But I still workout light because I want to make sure it never happens again. The ego is our worse enemy. Take a few weeks off from doing chest. I did that but for longer because of the tear and worked everything else with no problem.

I've torn my pec seriously twice before, but with heavy weight. I've torn my tricep with light weight though, and that ended up being my worse injury to date. It just came out of the blue during my PCT....which is why I now take a week off and lower weight during PCT.

IMO, everyone should press deep, slow and control the reps. Strenght is nothing without control. My PT emphasizes depth in chest press because it allows for a complete stretch of the muscles. Most chest injuries he sees are big dudes lifting heavy shit short stroking without depth and then one day they lose control, go deep and get all effed up. You can lift heavy all you want, but if you can't control your f**ked.

Don't press for numbers, press for perfect form.

Oh, and not all replies are posted by dudes :qt:

I think I am gonna start another\ cycle cause I allways get hurt sfter the cycle when i am on juice i dont get hurt, probably in a fiew years i will be posting threads about my liver problems.
