whats for supper? what can i make healthy with lean beef? im gonna cook buffalo burgers tonight i think. :) :p

I like to make chili with extra lean ground beef... 96% fat free.

Get some kidney beans, some chili powder, some cayane pepper.. some stewed tomatoes.. onions.. garlic.. brown the beef in olive oil.. salt and fresh cracked pepper.. yum yum

I bought some buffalo patties from Trader Joes, didnt care for them. I look at them every time I open the freezer too. Perhaps tonight I try cooking them again or throw them out

Make chilli with them. The spices will cover up the taste of the meat.

lol, yup, vacuum sealed buffalo patties, I bought two packages of them, cooked the first one awhile back and I distinctly remember thinking this is gross. I dont recall even if I finished them.

Good call dB, chili or spaghetti sauce to get the protein down and cover up the taste. Something about odd tasting meat that doesnt sit with me well, almost as bad as when I ordered rabbit at the four star restaurant at Timberline lodge on Mt Hood.
A hundred dollar meal that was shit b/c of a funky taste

and spinach, ala chefwide style.

That spinach will soil yer panties...

:lmao:

I just had me some beef actually, seared HOTTTTT pan, splashed with some baslamic and let her glaze real quick pulled the beef from the pan toute suite, deglazed that with some vinho verde and tossed in Cheffie three grain mix, a tbs of roasted unsalted pepitos, tbs of slivered almonds and some red chilli paste....

done. could have searved it over a big ol bed of italian parsley but spaced that i had so much left over and hammered the food before the brain kicked in...

:)
