My Quads are burning like nothing ever B4!! Shadow -- skiing beats squats any day. Its amazing!! Poling works the chest, tris & lats..... "skating" works the whole leg....balancing works the core..... OMG!! the burn!
LOL -- I stopped the lift line today cuz I dropped my pole and when leaving -- in retrieving my skis knocked over about 5 pair!!
Did the Head Wall & middle part of a trail I'd always been scared of...... to get to it you go up a lift where the wind is so hard when you get off it almost blows you back into the chair. Anyway, there's this Ginormous (thanks Bun!) mound of snow & you have to scoot on this teeny tiny goat path of a "trail" to get to the slope. I scooted on my butt across it. Once I got to the side, it was no problem. I can just see myself scooting on my butt across a Black Diamond slope. LOL
