Very expensive plates, but maybe not as much as comp spec bumper plates :)

But the bar they are sitting on is one of the best bars in the world you can buy!! I maybe getting one for amy possible home gym. depending on how my budget falls ;)

They're pretty, but there's something about my cheap iron plates that I love - maybe the sound when they clang together.

Do they come in 'rust' color?

They do look like Lego.

They would be cool if I had a recording of plates banging together I could play in the background. That's something I would miss if I got those.

So what's the bar, Eleiko?

looks like those plastic "pinwheel" things you get at the checkout line at the grocery store that you blow on and they spin. :p  ;)

what makes one bar any better than another...i know we all have our "favorite bars" at our gyms, but in terms of a whole series...what makes them stand apart?

Squat Bar: Long and doesn't bend...thicker with lots of center gnurling so that it it sticks to your back well.

Deadlifting Bar: long, thin, lots of gnurling, bends easily.

OL lifts: thinner, rolls REALLY easily.

Theyre so pretty, what the hell are the holes for ?? to stop crosswinds effecting your lift? LOL

They are pretty gay

They look like those 8-pack Crayolas you buy your kids for preschool.

Feel funny lifting with them, but I think you could do an entire Feng Shui alignment around your gym to help improve your lifts ... ;)

Except for Spatts' avatar that is the sexiest thing I have seen all day.

Dude How bout it, I want to eat a bloody prime rib steak of the middle of her back....did I say that:rolleyes:

I like em like little tinker toys or something, If you get 700 lbs of weight I'll come break em in for ya...

Hey CCJ, what are the weights for each?

Red-25 kg - 55 lbs
Blue-20kg - 45 lbs
Yellow-15kg - 35 lbs
Green -10kg - 25 lbs

Is that right?

no standard 45, 35, 25, 10 etc, these arenot like oly bumper plates. Just regular oly barbell plates

ie red=45lbs

for bumpers, red=55lbs, blue = 44lbs, yellow =33lbs, green =22lbs etc or 25kg, 20kg, 15kg, 10kg respectively

This would fuck up my Feng Shui. I prefer rust and cinder block wall's painted gray. Heavy metal music in the back ground and a roided out monster at the door who really looks like he hates you is always a nice touch.

colors are gay

im so hardcore i lift burlap sacks of rusty nails for weight, tied to a BLEEDING COW SPINE for a bar~!!! I lift in a fucking motorcycle factory/slaughterhouse on a bed of fucking HOT COALS with (very straight) GUYS IN LEATHER WAILING ON GUITARS with EXTREME PREJUDICE!! OH YEAH!!

I wish my gym had any bumpers :(

The equipment is really, really good there, far too good for 99% of the people who train there, 50kg plates, tons of lottle plates, loads of olymic bars (really great swivel to em), one thing it needs are some good stiff bars with centre knurling.
