check out the wpo site

With regard to the site and not to the WPO itself or its members, etc., I'd say it could use a lot of work. All the flash animation stuff looks good the first time but gets boring quickly, and it needs a ton of editing on grammar and layout. I would ditch the dollar-sign logo, too.

JMHO.

ps: "powerlifting dancers" ???

I agree totally....the WPO is a great org...and Kieran Kidder is doing awesome things for the sport....but they need a pro web page to go with their pro powerlifting...and yeah the dollar sign logo does make them look cheap and cheesy...they need some prestige.

I think the dancers are cool...I guess they are there to up the entertainment value of the meets....plus they have title belts...like boxing and wrestling.

It would be great if they had powerlifting on TV....shit they have bowling and billiards on ESPN

Website gave me a headache. I think that an epileptic should not be allowed to look at it for health reasons. Love the WPO as an organization. Hope to lift there some day after I get some hair on my chest.

It is bullshit that powerlifting is not on TV. Hell put it on ESPN2 right after World's Strongest Man. The people who watch WSM would surely want to watch Ed Coan squat over a thousand pounds.
