Carnitas...Its Whats For Dinner

Starting my shopping list for next week.

Got a good tomatillo salsa recipe?

As promised...

Ingredients
1 pound tomatillos
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 teaspoon minced garlic
2 serrano chile peppers, minced (or jalapenos for milder, habaneros for spicier)
1/2 cup chopped cilantro
1 tablespoon chopped fresh oregano
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
1 1/2 teaspoons salt, or to taste
2 cups water
Directions

Place tomatillos, onion, garlic, and chile pepper into a saucepan. Season with cilantro, oregano, cumin, and salt; pour in water. Bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce heat to medium-low, and simmer until the tomatillos are soft, 10 to 15 minutes.
Using a blender, carefully puree the tomatillos and water in batches until smooth.

do you wear your skirt while you're in the kitchen?

If you're referring to my kilt, my wife loves watching me saunter around the house in my kilt. I would never have considered a kilt, but my wife digs it and says that I totally have the legs for it (guys with "chicken legs" don't work). Truth be told, when I ran the 2011 TM in my kilt, I got more compliments from women than anyone else. Wanna run the 2012 TM with me? think you could keep up with this geriatric motherfucker? **wink**
