cardio question

i am by no means in any cardio shape. i wouldlike to start doing cardio wih my workout. should i start riding bike, running, or whatever fast or ease my way into getting to the high heart rate. i somene could give me your thoughts please do. if it helps i am 21, 155lbs 5'10
 
I would start by doing some walking on the treadmill just to get your heart rate going. Gradually move into running. I personally don't like the bike because i feel like im being lazy on it. Just my opinion though. Oh, Ive been recently running but not at the gym. It actually works better for me that way because if I get tired or not motivated at the gym its so easy to quit on the treadmill but if you run outside just set a goal like from point A to point B and no matter what happens you have to return right. I just call it tuff love. Good luck bro.
 
Cardio is a necessary evil of getting in shape. No one likes it. I'd say just pick whatever excercise you hate the least.

At your age, if you want to start running, I wouldn't waste time starting with walking on a treadmill. Start with a slow jog and work up. Challenge yourself, but don't go nuts with it.
