cardio post weight workout

i have beed doing cardio after my weights, is there anything i should take before the cardio session begins? Does my window of opportunity for absorbing carbs start after my weight training or after my cardio ends??? I am trying to drop some bodyfat but not kill my lean mass. Am cardio is not an option because i get up super early for work as it is....
 
Yeah I have the same question. Apparently you have a 1 hour window after weights but when your doing cardio you don't eat till 1 hour after. I just lifted, did cardio for 20 min and ate right after. I stopped doing cardio and I gained more mass. Curious.
 
taking your high GI carbs + protein shake after your cardio (no more than 30 min) is OK

though doing weights and cardio on separate days is even better

agree.....I was doing cardio after weights but sometimes it's easy to skip cuz I'm so damn tired so not much motivation to do it....so
now I'm doing AM cardio or just separate from weight and feel much better and more motivated to finish my cardio session....but that's just me!
 
Drink your shake right after your cardio session. For added measure i would take in 5 grams of glutamine right after my weights workout and then start the cardio.
 
Do you start burning fat quicker(as opposed to burning off carbs, etc) if you do cardio after weight training..it would seem to make sense...since ur heart rate is already raised
 
try mixing up some glutamine and creatine w/ water after your weights and down some BCAA's too, then hit the cardio
