Just want to know if it's best to do cardio (say hiit) in a morning on empty whilst trying to cut or would it be better to have some food first ?
if by ghey you mean, changing speed and intensity to challenge yourself, by going fast then slow, tricking your body into burning more calories since it can not achieve steady state. Then yea i guess it is ghey lolSynpax said:HIIT is ghey.

I not only had lousy energy during the cardio itself, but felt drained until I eaten both breakfast and lunch. Only then did I feel I recouped the energy I had when I had gotten out of bed.

I'd like to give it a try but I know I will screw up my knees with sprinting. I know that when I do my "fat burning" at the moderate pace for 30 minutes 3x a week that I am quite happy with my level of leanness.
Since I'm also using Bill Star's 5-5-5 intermediate training program I don't think that my knees could take sprinting at full speed after squatting 3x a week.

I never run on empty.....but my base is 8-10 miles
