Ok heres the deal im getting much bigger happy with the results so far its just that lower part of my stomach so Im trying to do cardio like 5 times a week Like after my workout ill run for like 20 minutes on the treadmill is this good or is it better to do this before you lift or does it even matter?

The best time for cardio is first thing in the morning on an empty stomach. If you cant pull that, which I cant since i wake up at 5:30 for work as it is, then post workout is your best bet.

good look ya the morning is kind of out of the question i get up at 200 in the morning for work so tecnically if i was to run first thing in the morning it would actually be last thing at night

I say do it after the workout. A little cardio work before a workout is a good warm-up. But the intensity, and duration for a warm-up is not enough to make a cardiovascular impact. Plus, too much cardio before a WO can sap your strength.

MD presented a study on this earlier this year. Experiment results showed that it was better to do cardio AFTER your lifting. You keep more of your gains and are able to do a more intense workout.

cardio as a warmup is a good idea, but no more than 10 - 15 mins. If your looking to burn fat, a more intense cardio session is needed, for an avg of 25 - 30mins at least. If you were to do this before you lift it would hinder your strength, you will exhaust most of your energy and there will not be much left to do the lifts you are looking for.

It all depends on the intensity. You dont wanna go to hard after you lift or before you lift, there is a fine line btw burning fat and muscle.
