CARDIO before or after workout?

RT10

New member
I cant decide which is better.
When I do cardio before my workout, I feel slightly wore out. And when I do cardio after my workout, it takes the pump off of the bodypart I just worked.

Personally I try to do it in the morning and lift in the after noon. I know that might not be possible so I would say that you run after you lift that way you can lift as much weight possible. Just my .02

i personally like to do it before lifting because after i bust my ass lifting a shit load of weight the last thing that i want to do is spend 30 mins plus doing cardio...thats just my opinion!

I know where you are coming from Blindfaith, everyone is different so just do which ever you feel the best doing RT10.
Good luck bro.

It really doesn't matter as long as you've replaced lost muscle glycogen from from whatever workout you choose to do first. If you don't you'll wind up being flat in your second workout and not getting optimal results.

according to those dudes, your muscles have some sort of "memory". they say the last thing you should do is a heavy set, instead of burn out sets or cardio. Supposedly this helps with muscle gains.

I try to do cardio as a wrm up each day before my workouts.
and then on my off days I do cardio as well.

i always warm up with like 5-10 minutes before work out but no more then that. you don't want to expend to much energy before workout. so i would recommend doing another 20-25 minutes after your workout (at target heart rate) to tap into your fat stores. this way your not worn down during your work-out.
