He is a pussy! He had all those years to learn from Curt Warner and what he do instead? He cried that he deserved to be the starting quarterback over Warner! RUFKM? If he had taken that opportunity and had learned to be humble like Warner, who, by the way, was more than willing to teach him everything he knew and then some and was happy to be backup if it would mean the teams success. He may well do well at a place like Denver, but the Raiders? He will cry more there!

Wow, I really thought he had the talent to be good. Maybe you guys are right and he doesn't give a shit.
He is a bitch punk and got his collar bone broke because his offense had zero respect for him and didn't protect him like they would someone whom they respect. He got drafted, held out till after spring training started to get the biggest payday ever for a rookie and all he had to do was keep his mouth shut, learn from Warner and produce, he did none of the above. Green was an idiot for agreeing to his ludicrous contract in the first place.

i think it was the best defense in the league as well as one of the best (if not, can't remember stats) running game, along with a superb offensive line.
i'm almost certain that leinart got canned for leading fitz into certain death that caused him to miss the rest of the preseason. the cards weren't going to let leinart sabotage their best player and their young WRs. i don't think anderson is anything special either, but i'd take him over leinart anyday.

rookie starting CB, 2nd year player on the other side who's nothing special. shaky offensive line due to age, contract issues, and injuries.best D lineman not named Wilfork out for the year. Randy moss is 33 years old, and lets not forget the stable of geriatrics in the backfield minus maroney, who's health history suggests he might be.

Matt Leinart has a new home, and once again, he’ll be a backup to another quality starter.
The much-discussed former Cardinals backup, who couldn’t beat out Derek Anderson for the starting job in Arizona, signed a one-year deal with Houston this morning, various outlets – including ESPN.com and the Houston Chronicle – are reporting.
And heck, he might not ever be the backup to Matt Schaub quite yet. Chris Mortensen of ESPN writes he’ll be the No. 3 quarterback behind Schaub and Dan Orlovsky for the time being – at least until Leinart can learn the offense.

Schaub is definitely nothing to sneeze at and won't be going anywhere. Leinart=pwned for a good while.
If leinart would shut his mouth, and learn to learn, he could be a great quarterback. Many great ones started out mediocre and worse. He just needs to learn his place and realize it is all earned, not handed out. An outstanding qb with a shitty line will not shine, a so so qb with an outstanding line will shine. Those guys in the trenches don't get paid nearly what the qb does and quite frankly have a much harder job I think and you have to take care of them as though your life depended on them. Oh wait, it does.
