some people cannot tolerate beans at all. what i recommend is investing in a good quality digestive enzyme. also keep in mind beans are very calorie dense. a cup of beans is going to be 600+ calories!
Beans contain something called phytic acid. It's an anti-nutrient. You need to soak beans for at least 12 hours prior to eating them to remove the phytic acid.
DO NOT eat dry beans.
After your soak the beans, they will be identical to canned beans - just without any of the preservatives found in canned beans.
As long as you are soaking them to remove the phytic acid - beans are a great health food that you can eat daily. Very high in protein and fiber.
