Cancun In August When Should I Start Diet???

alright just booked a week in cancun aug 14-21 and def need to get a 6pack for that
ive been liftin for a while im pretty strong i guess and have pretty good size but sitll have that body fat
17" arms / shoulders and traps are good but i def have a gut and some fat on my chest
when would u recommend starting a diet to lost about 10 pounds of body fat or so and what kind of cardio/ lifting (high volume/ high weight) should i do???

Why not start now? Too busy ;)?
You look like you have a decent amount of muscle on you to pull off a good cut...start now, that way you don't kick your ass about not starting earlier
 
Start now...you need plenty of time to properly cut. Diet will need tweeking, youll need to get your cardio/training in order, and you want to do it slowly enough that you dont lose muscle and burn out.
 
I would say the same thing. Start now, easier to maintain later if you get there earlier than to cut.

On the other hand, if you start now, you might even get a chane of doing a Cut-bulk-cut cycle before going there.
 
you need to start now as im sure it will take you longer if you continue to drink and if your diet isnt in check either.
 
aight fellas so i should start the diet now - how intense or how much cardio should i be doing - will a mile on the treadmile 5 nights a week be enough and should i change up my rountine at the gym?

A mile is not enough...you need to run for at least 30minutes before you begin to burn fat.

When cutting I do 45min @ 75 ~ 80% MHR, 6 days a week.

A mile is definitely like just warming up, you need AT LEAST 25 min to begin burning fat, the first part is only carbs...

We all know this: Cardio sucks and it is boring, but unfortunately is the only thing that will burn the fat.

Nahhh....cmon bro........it's 90% diet.........you know that.......I can get away with 3-4 days a week of cardio.........my brother gets into contest shape with a minimal 20 minutes of the bike.......really, if your diet is on point, the fat will come off with a solid training routine.
 
I think it ultimately depends on how much of an ecto component you have. I think I am a pure Endo with a pinch of Meso (I noticed is not that hard for me to put on some muscle), as such, I need the cardio for my diet to really work (at least to work as fast as I want it to work).

Then again, to each his own. Only by testing one can be 100% sure.

Used to believe Ectos were damn lucky... but seeing how much trouble they have to put on weight... I guess we all have different problems... Eating and eating and eating only to put on 1 lb per week must be a real bitch.
