Can you overtrain while on gear?

I'm finding that I can train so much harder and longer on a cycle. I can do 18 sets for quads and not get sore and be able to train them 2 days later just as hard. Off cycle I normally can only handle 12 sets for quads and it takes 5-6 days to recover. If I didn't have a job I would probably spend 6 hours a day at the gym every day.

Yeah, you won't get sore, but the same rules apply as off cycle. If you overtrain, nothings gonna grow, it adapts to the training level, then what?? If you give a muscle group ample rest time then hiy it hard again, its gonna say "oh shit, lemme grow to deal with this" and the juice will be there to help it do just that

That's pretty individual. I've been doing three sets, 8-15 reps, of three exercises, supersetted with three different exercises lately, its been working nicely

I have been trying to absolutely destroy one muscle a day "18-24" sets then I leave it alone for the week.

Thats pretty much me, large body parts 18 sets, smaller parts 10
Hit em super hard all over once a week.
Using the push / pull routine.

If that type of volume works for you then I would run with it.
Volume/sets/reps is something individual that you may have to experiment with.

I would think unless your goal is endurance if you can do 18 sets and still move your sets are either too small or too light.
4 sets of 10 should leave your really really sore if you just want muscle growth.
There are lots of studies showing to get max growth you need to hit 80% of your max you can handle.
I don't see anyone doing 18 sets of 80% of their max single rep.
