Can women take anti estrogens like 6oxo or nolva after a cycle or even by it self?

It helps with cutting on males would it possible help women or have other benifets?

Im not sure cutting is the term I would use..but I know what you are referring to.

I certainly dont recommend it....I would try Yohimburn first

No, it doesn't work for cutting and, in fact, most women who are given Nolva for breast cancer actually GAIN fat on it. It may be "leptinergic" in the sense that once you are already very lean (low in leptin) it could help with losing that last little bit of fat, but I wouldn't bet on it. Nolvadex is estrogenic in most tissues in women...

But what about 6 OXO? i would think its not as strong as Nolva.

Even if it isn't as strong, it will likely have the same type of effect.

Men and women have different response to many drugs. Plain and simple.

Don't know about the 6-oxo. All the estrogen in men comes from 'peripheral' aromatase activity, and this aromatase is produced mainly in fat tissue. Most of the estrogens in premenopausal women comes from ovarian aromatase activity. The other aromatase inhibitors that have been tested in women show them to be minimally effective in reducing estrogen in women because they don't seem to inhibit the ovarian aromatase very well. 6-oxo may or may not be in the same league. However it may help reduce the excess estrogen that wommn with lots of bodyfat suffer from (peripheral aromatase), but it's pure speculation.

So none of you even tried it? Even after a cycle?

I have used Nolva precomp (didn't make a noticeable difference). Can't see any reason to use it post cycle in women. Nolvadex is best used for prevention of estrogenic sensitive breast tissue growth (in men AND women) and really has little to recommend it beyond this. So maybe if she doesn't want her boobs to grow back post competition dieting then it would be worth a try! Otherwise it acts like an estrogen in most female tissues (outside the breast) and so is more likely to contribute to fat GAIN in women who are not dieting.

If you really want to kill her estrogen levels you need to suppress the HPO axis with a drug like goserelin (Zoladex). This may decrease circulating estrogen by up to 85% in young women. This is NOT a recomendation, just a fact.
