can u get hiv oraly

Umm....first question I'd like to pose is why in the HELL would u drink Winny? lol :worried:

I've heard however that you cannot get aids oraly, unless you ingested something I guess. Someone told me once that Saliva kills the aids virus in the mouth, this is heresay but he told me he talked to the Sexual health clinic in Canada.

Dunno if that helped or not. ;)

From what I have read or even learned, there have no documented case of HIV infection due to oral activity. This does not mean that it is not possiable. There are acids in the mouth which do kill many different things which we choose to put in our mouth. There are also other ways in which transmission could occur. A small sore inside your mouth. Infected gums. What I'm saying is it can happen ( maybe). If you are that worried about it, then your best protection is to not part take in oral activity. I know that's not reality, so put an unlubricated condom on first if you enjoy this kind of sexual play. The same goes for the females.

Play safe.

Saliva Does have AIDS/HIV in it. but in SUCH miniscule amounts there have been no reported cases of say a GUY getting HIV from a GIRL giving him oral. But the GUY can give the GIRL HIV when he ejaculates due to the many small cuts in mouths from daily activites such as eating really crispy potato chips or popcorn!

Sperm/Vaginal fluids/Blood are the main bodily fluids to be careful with.

There is something I believe its called a DENTAL DAM! It comes in many flavors and its a latex barrier method that stretchs to something like 8 times its size! PLUS it tastes great for the girl! Honestly what girl wouldnt like Grape flavored latex or giving a Pina colada flavored BJ?

Damn, I wish I read this thread a couple weeks ago. This girl wanted to give me a bj, but I didn't let her until I put a condom on. She was willing to give it to me bareback. Oh, well. At least I didn't lose any sleep wondering if I caught anything from her. Condoms can sure ruin a good time, tho.

I was a certified Red Cross HIV/AIDS instructor/educator. In my training there was a documented case of infection by sharing a toothbrush. Rare obviously

I am curious of the circumstances fo the case, i.e. the virus cannot live long when exposed to air and outside body temp.

How are the cases documented just by taking their statement or is there any scientific relation?

Just wondering..

Its been a number of years since I went through the training so the particulars escape me.
The route if I recall correctly was through the gums, as we all know sometimes the gums bleed from flossing and brushing.
The way it was described to me at the time by the Doc teaching us was it was investigated and concluded that the only route was the sharing of the toothbrush.
Beyond that, I cant recall.
I admit that it does sound like an urban legend-esque story but it definitely was stated to us in our training and education

uhhh... how.... like if u drank winstrol is it possible ?

WTF???? Maybe if you drank winny that was mixed with someones blood! Not likely to happen. Just know your source and how product is made

You can if the person giving the oral has an open sore in his/her mouth. That, with the semen that secretes from the other persons body makes the chance greater. I don't think that the risks are as high as sexual intercourse, but there is a risk anyway.

ive heard there is no known cases transmitted that way but they say it is possible so be careful anyway

Actually, there have been a couple of cases they have suspected this was one method the person contracted HIV. However, the general norm is that there is a less than 0.1% chance of getting it orally.

also, you never know how things change. just the other day, i read in the newspaper that many things scientists and doctors believed back in the 80's when the epidemic started, is no longer believed today.
they did point out that people are living longer and longer and that they are able to control the disease alot easier.

It is still known that gay men in San Fransisco are still the first known cases of it in the United States in 1980 or 81. There are possibilities that some of them may have contracted HIV in the late 70s. They have recently traced the virus to Monkeys in Africa through DNA research.

There is no reliable data that HIV can be transmitted orally - only speculation that an open sore, bleeding gums, etc., could permit infection.

Some years back, there was a study that turned up quite a few cases of infection through oral sex but followup interviews disclosed that the men had also engaged in anal sex. (That is part of the sampling problem -- finding men who only have oral sex.)

There seems to be less of a stigma attached to oral infection, so people like to make that claim. As I recall, the conservative pundit Andrew Sullivan claimed he was infected through oral sex. Then we later learned he was a devoted anal bareback bottom.
