Can I walk for 20 min on a bulk diet?

Think of how much you walk during the entire day, is 20 mins really going to change much at all? NOPE

YES...20 min of sustained walking at a brisk pace each day can significantly increase your cardiovascular fitness...of course this is opposed to no exercise at all. Just because you are bulking does not mean you should neglect the rest of your health and fitness. Get out there and walk for 20-30min 3-4 times a week. You'll be better off for it in the long run.

How serious do you plan on taking your bulking routine?

How long do you plan to bulk?

If I plan to bulk for 4 weeks then NO CARDIO!!!
If I plan to bulk for 2-6 months...I add in some light cardio.

I think it's ok. Long as you don't do it on days that you lift or in the am on an empty stomach. Just make sure you're taking some glutamine and/or bcaas.

I thought if you did cardio in the AM on an empty stomach it was a good thing.

Is that because he`s not cutting it`s different?

"Dont do cardio at all espeially on a bulking diet. Cardio will waste away your muscles."

How is this? I do a half to a mile run and a couple hundred crunches before training. I've always been told to warm up like that since Jr. High. How else am I gonna stay in shape anyway?

Yeah. Cardio 1st thing in the AM is ok for cutting, but you dont wanna do it when bulking. Too much muscle loss possible.

I agree that that statement is a little extreme. However, I would not recommend several hundred crunches and running 1/2-1 mile before training, noi matter if you are bulking or cutting! there are much better ways to warm up, IMO, that wont use all your energy.

What do you suggest I do for warm up then rather than running? When should I do my cardio if I only have about an hour a day after work? What about abs? I tend to train those every day should I be doing those differently? I normally have been using the ab roller and then I switch to reverse crunches (lifting legs).

I suggest several warmup sets, rather than running.

Whenever you have time, but not immediately before weights.

I wouldnt train abs more than 2-3x per week. I also wouldnt do 200 crunches. Way too many reps, IMO.
