I know they can smell weed, coke and stuff but what about test, eq anavar etc. Does anyone have an factual info on this topic. thanks

Not sure, but since most gear (liquid) is based in h2o or oil, it might be hard to tell for the dog when doing a walk around a car. As for tablets, the same might be said, since the chemical is pressed into the power for bonding. I woudl worry that the package has resedue on it from something else and triggers the dogs. Not that gear, coke, weed are managered byt he same people, but there could be a opportunity for the oder to transfer and notify a canine.
So if they can't smell gear when you cross the boarder wouldn't it be beneficial to do it in your car and smuggle a ton of shit instead of doing it by walking across with a few items?

Not really, if you got caught with a few bottles walking they will probably scare the shit out of you and give you the standard $500 fine.
If they catch you with quantity, your fucked. You will be looking at a laundry list of charges.
1. smuggling
2. possesion of a controlled substance with intent to distribute.
3. maintaining a vehicle.....
Your bail will probably be jacked to.
Then you will be in federal court. Not fun!
So before you do it, clear your calender for the next five years! LOL!

Two of my friends went through T.J. in a car to get some AS. Got in, bought there goods, and put the juice in the door panels and some other "special" places. I think they bought some sos, deca, eq, dbol, clomid, and some var. BIG MISTAKE!!! First of all they went down like July 2nd and I remember the U.S. Customs had made some announcement about how there were trying to crack down on the illegal fireworks or some bullshit. When they got back to the border to return into the U.S., the agent asked them if they had anything to claim(the usual) and they had some sunglasses, blanket, and a couple of other little trinkets. Then he asked, "do you mind if we search your car", they said sure. So they start busting off panels left and right and my friends started shitting breaks. But somehow the agents didn't see any of the juice. So they open all the doors and trunk and bring "THE DOGS IN", all of a sudden the dog goes to the left door panel(where they had put all of the injectables) and is acting normal. So they walk the dog over to the right panel(where the d-bol, var and clomid were) AND THE DOG WENT APE SHIT!!!!!! So the agents busted the right side of the car apart and they found all of the orals, and inevitably they found the rest! I guess the dogs can smell the orals, I don't know how or why but they did

Makes sense. I wouldnt think they could smell injectables in oil b/c oil is organic and hides the odor of the organic drugs inside it. Maybe they ought to smuggle heroin and coke through suspended in oil somehow hehe

Steroids are not addictive therefore they cannot be smelled by dogs. The reason dogs can smell weed and coke is because there trainers get them addicted to the stuff. I don't believe that story about the dogs sniffing the drugs. It could have just been a coincidence.

I figured that while it may be safer to go on foot and only get a small amount, I would have to make many trips. I would rather play the %'s and get it all in one trip.

It was just regurgitating info that I have read. I don't know how dogs can smell bombs or people or whatever but I'm certain that they cannot smell steroids.
Yup. that's how they find drugs that are hidden inside gas tanks. You'd think they couldn't smell them, but what they smell is the residue from the hands of the people that handle the package, and then touch other parts of the car. The dogs might be finding pills by being trained to smell the binders and fillers used in pill manufacture, that would enable them to find many different types of pills.
The dogs becoming additicted to drugs had me rolling on the floor...Ok let me get this straight if we can get the dogs addicted to it then they can smell it out. If the cannot get addicted to it then we are in the clear. That is some funny shit....
I've heard that same advice before and it sounds much more believable than dogs being trained to sniff roids. Even legit pharmacists can touch other drugs and then leave traces on your package of gear on accident.
