Buying my first shirt.

I need to good info on getting a bench shirt. I'm a small guy and I do feel like I will put on some weight in the next year so do I need to buy one larger than I would really need. I have also heard that if you can get it on it no time, its not tight enough. I have a buddy I train with that takes no effort to get on and I don't want a shirt like that. I want to get one thats going to work. I want to get all that I can out of one and I need to know how to send in my measurments. Do I send in the exact measurment or a little smaller. Is there going to be one bench shirt thats better than the other. I come off my chest extremly well right now. Its the lockout that kills me. Is there a shirt thats better suited for that? Any info would be great!!!

From my understanding, the shirt isn't going to help you much with your lockout.

Im kinda with Ish on this subject.

Personally, my lockout SUCKS, so a shirt really doesnt help that much for me. Maybe one of the shirt experts will be able to offer more advice.

The only thing I can advise is beat the hell out of your tris, so they can lockout the added weight from the shirt.

I haven't yet. I was thinking I was gonna try out Projects and then go from there. I think I'll get just a single poly to start with, and then move up. My lockout is decent, but off the chest I'm a bit weak, so hopefully the shirt will help. My partner and I are going to be starting WSB soon. I finally got him to start more pling and less bbing. :)

I know they won't help much but I didn't know if one type of shirt would be better than the other. Its nothing i'm going to jump in and do. I'm going to do my homework and spend my money on something I know will benefit me.

Arew you a belly bencher or high chest if you high chest I would suggest inzer poly or denim if you belly bench karins extreme

Truth of the matter is that you won't really know what type of shirt you like until you bench in one for about 6 months. I would recommend either a Karins DD or an Inzer Radical Cut DD. Either way, I would go with a Double Denim. You can learn any shirt, it just takes time.
