I have had been told that burning fat comes mainly from the calories you burn durning cardio and the calories burned during lifting do not burn fat.Is there a diffrence between cardio burning calories and burning calories by lifting as it pertains to losing fat? For instance if I only burn 500 calories during cardio and 1000 calories by lifting exercieses and I have a caloric defciet of 1000 calories per day taking in 2000 calories per day and burning 3000 calories per day am I only losing fat from the 500 calories of cardio I do that day?
