Bulk Diet for lightweight >Help ??

im a young newb on this board but i gotta question, first off im 16 like 160 pounds 6'1" 4.5% body fat (or thats what the school said so assume thats not exactly correct ) so you can tell im pretty skinny and if i want any chance of being on varsity football next year i need to bulk up, ive been reading alot of the diets on here and alot of them have been for guys at 200+ lbs, so if Mr. X or anyone else has any input on a diet that will give me max weight gain and increase all my lifts alot i would really appreciate, or if anyone has any links to an old thread containing this information. if anyone has any say on a good workout plan that would be great too, anything is accepted. i felt this is one of the most knowledgeable places on this subject. thanks.

if you want to gain weight, you have to eat more calories than you burn. its that simple. but unfortunately for some (myself included), a fast metabolism can make it more difficult to pack on the weight. it sounds like you have that problem.

first things first, you should be getting in at least 250g of protein in a day. protein sources come mostly from meat (steak, chicken, fish), dairy, nuts, and protein supplements. you should invest in a 20lb bucket of protein from wherever you want (a lot of guys on here like proteinfactory).

now, if i were you, i wouldnt get into the nitty gritty of bulking. you want the weight to play fball, not compete in a bodybuilding competition. so aside from getting in the minimum amount of protein/day, make sure you are eating, eating, eating. every 2 hours. stay away from junk food. but something like a PB + Jelly sandwich with 16oz of protein shake is about 600-700 calories and 40g protein. so you can imagine what a meal of steak, potatoes, veggies, and a glass of milk would be. maybe someone else can give you a more specific diet, but remember, you wont get big if you dont eat big

I've got some whey protein and ive got nitro-tech and some creatine, im wondering if anyone has any ideas on what type supplements i should take, or what brand yall think is the best, i appreciate ur post step. tahnks.

What does your diet look like now?

OVerall, at your age, just adding calories would basically solve most if not all the problems.

Your other post w/ the ProteinFactory Unleased question: yes, it's a good product and NO it's NOT dangerous. Protein is not a dangerous product - you eat it everyday in meats, eggs, cheese, dairy etc....

finish your remainding nitro-tech, but never buy it again. its overpriced, and not that much different from a whey + sugar shake
