bulk and cut, same cycle

runnin test E, on week 7 and was only planning on staying on for 10 weeks. This is my first cycle ever, I was 5'8" 170 around 12%BF when I started and in the 7 weeks I have been on I have gained 22 lbs....I never really expected to get this big to be honest heh. I like it, but it quite honestly has shot my BF through the roof due to the sheer amount of cals I am eating. Now my question is can I throw some more time into the cycle like lets say 2 more weeks for a total of 12 ( Keep in mind this is my first cycle ) and cut up for the last 5 weeks? Aside from that, is it possible to put on lean mass while cutting BF% on test E alone and if is not, could I throw some var/winny onto the end of the cycle to cut myself up?

On a sidenote, I have cut out cardio almost completely save for a 15 minute jog before my morning workout to warm my muscles up before stretching. This quite honestly has been the most insane bulk I have ever done heh

Tried it with winny while running sust and frontloading with dbol. It didn't work for me. Going from 4000 to 2000 calories/day while adding cardio and carting around an extra 20 lbs made for a pretty crappy time.

Now, I give my body a couple weeks to adjust, slowly ramp my cals down, then run some clen 2 weeks on 2 weeks off. The dbol leg pumps prevent me from running though, so that is really the deciding factor...besides that whole hating cardio thing.
 
damn... im not really looking forward to lugging around this extra fat throughout PCT, any other suggestions?

If you want to give it a shot, I say go for it, there are guys who do it and can get results. I'm just not one of them.
 
decided that i am going to run this out for 12 weeks, throw in some clen during the last 4, cut my cals from 5k to 2k and rock out some intense cardio to shred myself up before PCT... Quite honestly I have gained all of the mass that I want and then some on top of that, if I lose some I will still be satisfied with the results.

That majority mass is probably extra water and some fat. Just start eating cleaner. I'm sure you gained some lbm, but IMO keep the bulking process until you recover from pct. Once your hormones have balanced back out, you'll cut much more efficently. If you decide to start cutting......NOW.....you'll be in such a lethargic and piss poor mood, which may in turn lead you to not liking the end result. :Chef: :tuc:
 
You blew it with your diet. Putting on some BF is okay, but it sounds like you put on a lot. I'd save cutting for your next cycle and get a better grip on diet/cardio until then. Are you using an anti-e? A lot of water will prolly come off in the first 2 weeks after your cycle which may allow to look leaner again. Sounds like you should've switched up your calorie sources to good food from what you were doing prior to your cycle. This way you may have put on some size while losing BF, even if the scale didnt' change much, your body composition may have.

I've done it many times and it works great, staying on the gear will help you keep the muscle you gained, dieting during pct, or even a month or two after a cycle will almost guarantee you piss your gains away. Just dont drop the calories too fast

But your a pro. For someone just doing in for vanity sake, I don't think it's a wise idea. Guys like you NS, are so dialed into their bodies, they can manufacture gains taking a shit. :Chef: :tuc:
 
dont drop from 5000 cals a day to 2000 all of a sudden. you will lose your lbm faster that way. the good thing about using clen pct and possibly some t3 is cause then you can still have a relatively high cal diet and still burn fat. but yeah get your diet in order first lol

Definitely agree.

The guy isn't happy with his bodyfat. Sure, he f'ed up his diet, but can't change that now. I'm sure the last thing he wants is to be fat for another 3 weeks on his cycle, then for another 4 on PCT, and THEN for another couple months if he actually did things "properly" and let his body adjust to the new mass.

So, while he risks losing a tiny bit of LBM (which he shouldn't really 'cuz he's still on gear), he doesn't have to look like $#%@ for 4 months. Pretty easy decision to me.
 
bro just clean up that diet but if you wanna get big you have to do what you did and put on mass and then cut it away, that just doesn't happen for me i am too hardcore of an ectomorph. congrats on the 22lbs, just diet like its your job and you should get what you want, there is nothing wrong with incorporating clen in you pct. alot of bros do it

Agreed... Just clean up your diet... Try Clen/Clean Diet PCT... worked as anti-catabolic agent for me...
 
i agree with needsize, you can stay on a little longer cut cals, not from 5g to 2g imo try about 3500 then see where you are. but staying on will help from losing muscle while you cut, just make SURE you eat clean. dont do what i am doing tonight and have a few beers :p
 
DIET, DIET, DIET. Looks like you need to start hitting cardio in the morning and after training. You did blow it with the diet, you have to dedicate yourself to your goals man.
 
You could finish with a cut if you are very unhappy with your bodyfat. Dropping the calories all at once can be tough mentally and physically but yo-yoing back and forth is very effective IMO since it keeps your body guessing and it wont be prepared to start starving and your metabolism will be revved up a little longer than if you gradually reduced cals. If you keep a reasonable calorie intake until you come off you will probably find you're not as fat as you think and its a lot of bloat however.
 
Well, I did slack on the diet I guess you could say. But to be honest its simply what I had to do to get the weight up. I read all about people just eating everything within arms reach just to get the cals in and thats pretty much what I did, aside from that its f'ing hard to maintain a completely clean diet when you have 3 roomies all of which have never set foot in the gym! I mean, when I run out of "clean" food to eat, all thats left is their garbage, but its so good =(
 
I learned this is a great way to waste a cycle -

'bulk' up to over 15%, come off & start PCT

panic about being too fat

start doing extra cardio and cut your cals

watch all the muscle/water gained on cycle piss away


If I were to do it again I'd consolidate my new found muscle gains for as long as possible before trying to cut (assuming cutting with no juice)
