I wonder when was the last time any of them spoke to Michael. Why is when celebs die, all we want to see is other celebs? Why not his best friends, managers, assistants, ex-wives, maids, doctors, accountants, promoters, trainers, producers - people who were with him 24/7 for decades and not people who were with him maybe 4 times for 30 mins backstage in their life?

Tito, 55, Marlon, 52, and Jackie, 57, all asked the ‘Thriller’ hitmaker if their band could reunite for one gig during one of his 50 sell-out performances at London’s O2 Arena this summer.
According to a family source, fifth brother Jermaine, 54, didn’t join his siblings in pleading for an emotional reunion, though he did say he’d appear if asked.
However, Michael has told them there is ‘no way’ he can accommodate a one-off gig with his brothers.

No shit. He hated his family and all these celeb friends. I've worked with tons of makeup artists, camera people, grips, hair dressers, stylists, etc. who've worked daily with mj for years and years and know the real mj. No one supported him during the trial except diana ross, liz taylor, few others. Rest of the hollywood 'let's be cool and talk great about mj' losers were hated by him.
I bet u won't find one single pic of him with any of them the past 10 years. Today was one big fat photo op for these celebs and family to setup the mj gravy train that's just started (ever hear joe jackson talk lately? hehe).
Watch OJ die tomorrow, and sharpton and others hold a big concert about how much an influence he was growing up.

I've been estranged in a way from my brother for about four years now. I've talked to him twice in those four years.
But if he died? I would be completely devestated. Even if I can't bring myself to fake being ok with him, I still love him with all my heart.
Family shit is just too nuanced, layered and complicated to read into from news report.

As for the photo op celebs who have met MJ as many times as you and I -- nuff said there. They were actually posing for photographers beforehand like it was some red carpet premiere! Chris Brown wore jeans and bling!
The real people MJ loved and saw daily are not posing for cameras and giving interviews. They are mourning at home. U didn't see diana ross, quincy jones, eddie van halen or liz taylor today. Hmm.

I'm not going to comment on who showed up...but I enjoyed all the little anecdotes and empathize with the people who grieved privately.
I'm not saying that they aren't open to scrutiny for their actions, but trying to assume you had any understanding of their relationships with each other based on some news reports is just plain stupid.

Oh BTW - I never cared much for his music, though I do recognize his obvious talent. I only liked that one song where people morphed in the video, dunno the title of it but the refrain was, "It don't matter if you're black or white."
As for whether he was guilty or not I am way too experienced with the law and how screwed up it can be from the vantage point of it protecting animals while feeding innocent children to the wolves, everyone who is supposed to or could help turning their backs for fear of cutting their own professional throats or just plain ignorance/apathy. I only know bits and pieces of your struggle, from a rather selective few threads that I have read that touched on it... But from the sounds of it, if anyone has the right to laugh at just how seriously some people take the internet, it would be be someone in a position such as yours. I know... it's sad, kinda scary, and rather disturbing how seriously some people take any second-hand "word of mouth" drama about ANYTHING and interpret it as gospel truth... Much less choose to attempt to somehow involve themselves, even via some meager little coduit such as a message board on the internet. As if that is somehow gonna make an impact on... well, much of anything.
I mean, really... what else can you do but take it "for what it's worth" and laugh a little. Then again, I don't pretend to know the extent to just how seriously some people take this stuff. I'm simply making assumptions here. Stupid people are gonna do what stupid people do. Roll with it, and if nothing else, let the criticism motivate you that much more. I'm guessing I'm just "preaching to the choir" regarding that though.

The written word is powerful indeed. ("The pen is mightier than the sword") You are a man that is not so easily influenced by what you read/see (ie media) so then surely you can understand how easily influenced *the average* person is. If I could share but a fraction of the insane crap that people have told me as *gospel truth* about me (not knowing it was me they were telling it to) your head would spin. NO EXAGGERATION. This affects how people interact with you AND your family (children included) both professionally and personally. Now multiply this phenomenon by a gazillion and that would only be *a slice* from the daily existance of a person wiht the wealth and status of a MJ.
When the utter bunk that is printed on the interent/papers/magazines/reflected in the media DOES NOT alter the behavior of the masses then we can sit back together on my deck, smoke a good cigar, drink a Tito's martini and laugh until we fall out of our chairs.
Until then, people like myself (and those who have had their lives affected similarly to varying degrees) won't be laughing too much.

He had vitiligo, which causes the pigment of the sking to turn white/pinkish pale.
A quick google image search will show you exaclty what it is and how obvious it is that he had this. It's not that uncommon and he defintiely had it.
The plastic surgery didn't help him look any better though, as most anyone woud agree.
The reason he was so pale now is because he wore makeup to cover his spotted skin. Also, he always wore long sleeves AND his glove to hide his spotted skin from the disease.
