Hey ladies! I have never posted on here so please be kind. I was curious about what kind of experiences any of you have had with anti-e's when getting ready for a show. Of course this question isn't for me, there are a few women bb'ers at my gym who compete. I would think running a little arimidex would help tremendously in terms of hardening up prior to a show. I know this can have different side effects in women. Just curious if anyone has any advice or experience on this one. I am a competitive bb'er myself, I just don't have much experience with competing as a female :) . Thanks in advance!

I haven't done it myself yet however the suggestions that was give to me precomp was novladex 4 weeks out and provirion one week out up and tell the show. Bump for someone with a little more experince.

Was the advice given by a woman or a man? Nolvadex is a selective receptor antagonist which means it won't necessarily reduce your total estrogen levels, it will just stop it from giving you gyno (which obviously doesn't apply if you're a woman). I don't think this would help much with hardness. The proviron sure as hell would make a woman harden up though. I would think that might have masculinizing affects on a woman due to the high androgen content. What do you think? This is a new arena for me.

Both suggestions were from guys that train girls to get ready for comps. Both had suggested the provirion which I also had my doubts about as it seems rather harsh.

Proviron definitely seems harsh. I would think a woman would be better off using something like arimidex that will reduce estrogen levels and increasing hardness without having a harsh androgen level in the body. I guess it comes down to what level the female athlete is at, if they are high level or trying to be they are already masculine, if they aren't experienced with drugs proviron might be a bad choice.

I think the problem w/ arimidex is that it shuts down estrogen completely and this is NOT good for women, period.

To be the devils advocate there is nothing that shuts down estrogen completely. I think about the most supression as possible is around 80%. I realize that is a very high percentage, but if you were to run arimidex at a low level don't you think you could increase hardness without dropping estrogen levels too low? Thanks for the responses by the way, I am very interested in this.
