Bodybuilders an there jobs!!!!!!!!

Whats up bro's just wanted to know something here. What jobs do most of the bodybuilders have?Like Lee Priest,Jay Cutler,Flex Wheeler etc....Because right now Iam working in the heat an it sucks.Iam thinking most of them are personal trainers, just my 2 cents.Just something I always wanted to know lol :) :artist: :qt:  :rainbow: :p

Yea just wanted to know.Because I know they just didn;t start out in the bodybuilding business making money. You have to be big an in shape to get paid by a sponsor.I think Ronnie was a cop before he was pro.

Dont get me wrong man, there are plenty of good bodybuilders w/ real jobs, but there is a dark side to the sport most people dont know about. Many of them deal juice so they can run their own shit for nothing basically, while usually working odd jobs here and there. Trust me, most guys are not dumping 50-80g's/yr into their bodies and affording to live at the same time from personal training, thats B.S. I know guys who are national level, not even pro yet!! And they spend more than most people make just on groceries, drugs, tanning, etc etc

I don't disagree with abolish.
Some will work as bouncers, limo/taxi drivers, guards. Anything that's usually physically easy and allows time for meals.
Busting ass in the heat at work is not the way to maximize your genetic potential.
You need to find a way to make a honest living while conserving your energy for your training.

you can kiss the gym goodbye with car sales, I used to do it. You'll be at work from 9am-10pm usually 6 days/wk. Hard to stop what your doing during a sale and delivery to say "hey, let me eat my protien bar" Trust me, you've never seen your body go to hell in a handbasket as fast as selling cars for a living

Exactly why I am going back to school for a less physical job.

Good stuff...that's smart!

Well i have been selling cars for about 1 year now and I love it.Its from 8;30til 6;00 and I can take long lunches so if I want to do a shoulder work out or what ever I can.I surf the net all day trying to absorb all the info I can. Then,to make it sweeter I could sell a car and make anywhere from $500 to$1500. I did construction work in the Alabama heat so anything was an improvement though. You know what I mean?

Also some write or sell their names for editorials in mags. Not a lot get sponsoered, and even then it doesn't mean they're set. I think I read Cutler was into real estate. One guy does pedicures and stuff like that. Is it Dexter Jackson?

Lets see......

Arnold did some bricklaying until Joe Weider became his Sugar Daddy

Paul Demayo did some bricklaying and potentially some pipe laying if you know what I mean.

Coleman was a cop which consisted of sitting in a car and eating all day. Great job for bodybuilding.

Flex Wheeler did some work as a Correctional Officer which is completely condusive to bodybuilding. Again, basically sit around and eat when you want. Flex also boosted how people would just give him juice and tell him to go win a show.

Big Sean Allen does "muscleworship", figure that out for yourself.

Same with the guy who touts himself as the strongest bodybuilder, I think his last name is Jackson? He does "muscleworship" also.

Porter Cortrell was a firefighter.

Tom Prince was a chiropractor I believe?

Craig Titus sold X

Victor Martinez sold roids

Dave Palumbo bogus non hologram Serostim

Chris Duffy did male on male porn. Not sure if he did bottom or top work.

basically I think the theme is to sell your body and sell drugs unless you have super human genetics like Coleman and can cut it as just a cop.

I just landed a job in corporate security. We'll see how it goes. crazy shifts but also 3 full days off a week. I will make it work. Saving energy and eating are a very big part of bodybuilding.

my buddy who's an amateur BBer used to be a chippendales dancer when he was in his early 20s. that would be the best job ever! now he PT's

i sold my landscaping company and partnered with my girlfriend in her internet sales business. best thing i could have done. i do work a lot of hours but they are around my training schedule. i can eat 7 meals a day go to the gym 2 times take and afternoon nap whatever i need. work is mentaly demanding but its great for recovery.

I used to live in Dallas, take I-35 South to Laredo (about 500 miles) park your car on this side of the border, walk across the bridge a tour guide will take you to a good pharmacia, or just find you own.
