Body Language?

Do you think it is deliberate? Or something that is done with out even being aware you are doing it? Can it mean the opposite?
Sexually speaking of coarse. For example, according to body language experts, if a woman and a few men are hanging out, they say the woman will always face her body towards the man she is most interested in. Or while she is talking to a man she is interested in she will touch her face. Since I've learned some of these "tell tale" signs I've noticed some "ladies" who are friends with mine doing this to me. I would never act on it but I'm not sure they wouldn't if I gave them the chance. Know what I mean?
I would like some opinions.

BiGSatan, you're correct. Basically, we point our shoulders to what we want. If she has her shoulders open towards you, she wants you 9Of course this is not foolproof, but usually).

Like someone else said, playing with hair or face is also a telltale sign of sexual attraction, this is known to body language experts as "preening," or making yourself pretty for a mate.

Other signs,

open arms - when a woman exposes her hands and wrists, she is showing that she can be submissive.

if you think a woman is looking at you, quickly look down at your watch, if you notice that she looks down at her watch to , she is checking you out. She is curious why you need to know what time it is, and she is "helping you" figure out what time it is subconciously.

crossed arms over chest - sign she doesn not like you and does not feel comfortable around you

crossed legs - she is sexually repulsed by you, or is turned off to any sexual activity with you

smiling - if you give her a big smile, and she smiles back, she is inviting you to take her, smiling is the most effective form of body language

You can totally ignore what a person is saying verbally, and just look at their body language and be able to tell exactly how they are feeling and what they are thinking.

I would have to disagree with the crossed legs meaning sexual repulsion...I cross my legs a lot, but it's more for comfort than anything else. Also, a woman knows her legs look sexy when they're crossed. I sit with my legs crossed when I'm readin stuff in the Sheets half of the time...won't say what I'm doing for the other half.

If she crosses her legs I think she is
showing off her sexy legs..

I don't agree with the smiling part.. I smile all the time.

But the crosssing the arms part I do agree with that..
I think it's telling the person, she is not interested..

Man, I am so glad someone posted this. I am the #1 dumbass when it comes to reading a girl's body language. My wife has to point it out to me when a girl is giving me signals.

Please post more body language clues so I can learn.

I know I am guilty of some of these things. I definitely make more physical contact with a guy that I am interested in. There's more eye contact too. Now if picks up on all this is a totally different matter indeed.

So eye contact is a pretty heavy sign too?... like.. I work at a video store.. and I will be checking in video's.. lotsa cutties come in.. and I'll glance at them every once and a while.. and notice they are already kinda looking towards me.. and eye contact is made... I also didn't know about the standing thing...

You can read a man's thoughts through his body language. In fact I think it's more obvious.

I'm not talk ing about just sitting down in a chair and crossing your legs. I'm talking about if you're in a doctor's waiting room, and you suspect a man is staring at you, and you don't find him attractive, and his non-verbal advances are not welcome, you may subconciously cross your legs, closing off the area to let him know it's off-limits. It's basically a law of human behavior.

Obviously there will be times when you're crossing your legs for comfort or to appear lafy-like.

The obvious one is a girl who plays with her hair, which is a sign of sexual frustration.


There is also eye contact. If she has her eyes dead-set on yours and seems like she doesn't ever blink, that's a good sign.

I think these are too vague. I had a girl make obvious 'eye contact' with me, even after she told me she was getting back with her boyfriend.

and the hair playing happens all the time around me too, i even see girls playing with their hair when they're not talking to anybody.
It doesn't always signal 'she wants you.'

I`ve noticed that the women I talk to ALL do the same thing. What does that mean? When I say something to them they point straight up at the ceiling??? with thier middle finger. Is that a sign?
