Body for life thoughts

Hey all:

What do you all think of Bill Phillips body for life program? I have read into it and I think it just seems a little too simple to produce such dramatic results. It seems more like a advertising campaign for EAS products (which I think are all excellent products). What are your thoughts. You can't really argue with some of the transformations, they are astounding. I have 2 patients who did the program by the letter and one did great, the other lost a few pounds, but it was not very dramatic. Anyone do the 12 week program?

Is this another joke post from Ranger? (See Bill Phillips post in Anabolic Forum.)

I think the program has its merits as a motivating tool for some people. However, all the winners with mass appear to have been on gear in the past. (Most of them openly.) That means they packed on some mass in the past and then got outta shape. They then went "natural" and dieted down and added some muscle back. Looks like a fast increase in mass. Other winners appear to be all natural.

Hey, if you workout, eat right and maintain a pos nitrogen balance for 12 weeks, you'll probably get something.

I doubt the exact program would work well for intermediate, advanced BBs though. Any thoughts guys?

im training a guy using the BFL protocol. its intense but i agree the volume is kindof low. 4 sets of one exercise with 1 min rests...then going to a "high point" being another exercise for an all out set of 12 supersetted into another 12. seems like it might be similar, slightly to HIT. i normally do 8 sets per bodypart roughly so i guess its not way off if the intensity is there.

the thing i think is funny is the food plan and the cardio plan. minute by minute intensity documentation for cardio. the meal plan stating 6 portions of protein, etc etc. and 10 cups of water. so basically calories are out? just portions? hehe. KFC here i come! (im sure it has to be lean...but im making a joke)

but its a great scheme for the company. give the people some info and a program to follow and stipulate that they follow the supplement guidelines...with motivating before and after pics. hes making a killing!

I overheard some dickhead cop at the gym bragging about this program and what it did for him. I'm not impressed, he's built like a chick!:lmao: :lmao:
