caffeine is a natural diuretic, as is lemon juice. I prefer lemon juice for obvious reasons. Just drink about 2 tablespoons of lemon juice throughout the day. I mix mine into water so I can spread it out throughout the day. The results will vary with people, but it helps me out alot.
Water retention can be controlled through diet for some extent - drinking LOTS of water, limiting sodium, keep potassium up. There are some foods that are "natural" diuretics - lemon ( as mentioned above), parsley and asparagus come to my mind.
You can always take diueretics, but why? The rebound from them may suck and the excess water will help your stregnth. Dehydration isn't fun!
Yep. But lower carbs *might* also inhibit gains if you are trying to ADD muscle. Lower carbs also give you less energy which can limit your strength in the gym. But lower carbs definately will impact the amount of water in your body - less carbs, less water.
It all goes back to the same point - hard to bulk and cut at the same time. If you are trying to add mass, you might have to make a few TEMPORARY physique sacrifices.
Good post, thanks Daisy_girl. I guess I am looking at doing a cycle that will add lots of mass, I am just concerned about too much bloat.
I will lean out a bit before I do my cycle.
It will be my first time using test.
