The placement of the card is the same in every photo and the letters are not handwritten - they are too perfect and consistent in each name. It's one photo with the name changed for whomever.

lol - that's a perl script. You point it at a font and you can then output it over an image with rotation (part of the Image Magick package) and other effects.

In this case, they just chose a handwriting type font.
