Big Brother Val and Hulk Hogan!

Now we all know, Hulk was great at one time. Not a great wrestler, but a great rapper on the mic with a ton of charisma. I agree that Hogan hands down helped make wrestling what it has been the last 15 years. My question to you though Big Brother Val is this. When is it enough? How old is Hogan now. 65? You know as well as Nature Boy, that Hogan will never, and mean never have the drawing power he once did. So why come back and embarress yourself? Hogan will never be the total package like Ric Flair. Even when Flair is 80, he could and would still kill Hogan.

I have such a large amount of sympathy for you.

Kinda like when I go into a room full of special ed kids. They aren't bad kids. They aren't stupid. They're brains just don't function like they should. They were born that way.

I think it's very sad.

As far as his drawing power... could he draw as many today as he could back in the day? Based off of what he did to the WWF in ratings... I'd say yes. Even when people hate him, they tune in to see what he's going to do next. No one is going to stop watching wrestling just because he comes back. It will be quite the opposite.

Can he hold himself in the ring like he used to?

No.

No one that is aging like Hogan or Flair or Savage or even the Bossman can do what they did. That is true with anyone.

I would be perfectly content having Hogan back in a non-wrestling role. To have one last run before he hangs it up. I truly don't think he'll be a fulltime wrestler. I think he'll do more of a run-in part than anything. He'll have mic time, and interfere in matches, and what not. I just can't see him wrestling every week.

Yes Hogan made wrestling what it is.

Yes Hogan can still put people in seats.

Yes I would LOVE to see him have a match against Vince before his career ends.

And Hogan had it all over flair. When flair was wrestling pathetic little 2,000 person shows... Hogan was selling out arenas worldwide.

He's the man.

Always has been.

Always will be.

i would assume BBV has better mat skills than Hogan. Although he cannot compare to El Dandy.

Thanks. I hope to prove myself a little more... I think I'm going up against L.O.D. in April. That'll be cool.

Good hell.... the poor man. You can't help but laugh at him. Even though he's trying his best... he runs around the ring looking like a little retarded circus midget.

on a serious note BBV you have any of your matches on tape? I might be able to get you booked for a card here and by here i mean the hoitbed of wrestling that would get you noticed by the wwf.
 
I have 5 or 6... the best match we've done was against the Ballard Brothers of the UPW. That was a killer match. But the copy of it sucks. I have a show in Arizona later this month against them again... then 3 or 4 shows in March... and hopefully I'll get the chance to go against L.O.D. in April.

Exposure is the key, as you know. If I can find a good copy of one, I'll be sure to let you know.

I like seeing Flair too- It won't be very difficult for anyone new to be a better attraction than a Flair Jr. or Big Vince's little brats...

What federation are the Road Warriors in now?

I figured they would have retired after getting screwed in the WWF. IMO, they are the best tag team ever in pro wrestling and will never be beat. Hell, the majority of their moves are still being ripped off to this day.
