Bicep Blaster

Anyone ever use a bicep blaster. Been thinking of getting one. If you don't know what I am talking about, it is basically a piece of metal that goes across your stomach, to where your arms fit into a groove for curling.

stand with your back to the wall and put your elbows tight to your side. keep the backs of your arms against the wall. same thing

i dont have one but i like using them for triceps on the tri pushdown machine, great isolation exercise!

You don't NEED one, but they are very nice.... Esp if your Biceps are lagging, and you wanna isolate them.... They work great for Tricep push downs too....

Its good if you ever feel your shoulders becoming fatigued during a bicep workout - then you know you should be more strict and this will help you.

Even with the arm blaster it's still easy to cheat a bit ... i've used it in the past but find the incline seated dumbell curls still the most isolating vein poping exercise thats pretty much void of any cheating ...

Funny watching guys in the gym ... i've seen maybe 2 in the past year actually do a barbell bicep curl correctly . The bar should trace your ab's on the way up ... most guys curl like there reaching around a barrel on the way up . Done correctly the standing bicep curl will build some nasty arms with much less weight then you think is needed .

Check your form before incorperating fancy devises .. that picture of arnold sold millions of those arm blasters in the early 80's ... but then again a of picture of arnold holding a can of useless protien powder did the same thing

pardon my ignorance but what are drag curls?

Drag curls are performed with the elbows at the side, curl the bar ,allowing it to travel about an inch or two up the side of the body,a good bicep pumper!

It's a full curl,using controlled movement.
