best training style for newbie

I’m completely new to weight training and I’m 22 years old
I’ve never touched the weight in my life but I played different sports like soccer and Tennis when I was younger
I was wondering what’s the best trading style and best workout routine for someone in my situation. My goal is to put on some more strength and put on some more muscle mass and I’m 128 lbs and 5’7”
 
you should get a gym membership and go to a place with a lot of different options
 
don't go into the gym and just do machines I would stick to free weights
 
there's never a late time to start you're still 22 years old you have a lot of growth ahead of you
 
you need consistency I would start with the 6 or 7 big lifts and stick to those
