Best time for cardio to burn fat

First thing in the morning on empty stomach and prior to bed 2 hours after your last meal


Because glycogen stores are depleted? I have been doing 35 minutes on a stationary bike each morning. Pretty high level. I stop at 35 minutes because that's when I hit 300 cals. I just started this a week ago. I am lifting weights in the PM also. 5 nights per week is my goal. I am hoping to drop 10-15 lbs by Christmas.
 
I prefer early morning for doing workout. It is best time for doing cardio exercise. Running and cycling are my favorite practices for maintaining fitness level. I give 35 to 45 min daily before my break fast. This is better start for a tough day.

Because in the morning you are just coming off your biggest GH spike of the day and your stomach is basically empty so your body has no choice but to use body fat stores for energy, then the reasoning behind at night is that 2 hours after your last meal your food should be basically digested so you have lots of calories floating around to use as energy, you want to use a good portion of these so that you wake up in the morning with an empty stomach

Now there is a trick to this, you don't want to be burning muscle, you want to burn fat so make sure you limit your cardio to no more then 30mins at once and make sure it is hiit cardio
 
For me I hate doing cardio first thing in the morning but my body responds the best to this. A good fat burner stack like n2burn and n2slin really make a difference also. This will greatly speed up the process.

Ah, the argument question. Don't believe the hype.

No, many agree working out on empty stomach isn't right. It's a myth. You WANT maximum energy in your muscles to work out hard & fast. Burn max. amount of calories. Esp when you do HIIT (you want to lose weight right? Lazy relaxing cardio ain't it).

That doesnt mean eat a lot then go to gym. Drink some juice or shake 1 hour before the gym, let it digest and then run your butt off. You'll notice the increased energy and the calories you burn will keep burning long after the workout.

As for time - really doesn't matter. People work out all times of the day.
