you are sore from doing that because as you said it was your first time lol.. your body is reacting to what just happened. this is why i laugh when guys say muscle soreness is from 'lactic acid' lol. yeah okay.. then explain why people in car accidents are sore? that is from lactic acid too? LMAO
you want to stop being sore from an activity? keep doing it.. your body will get used to the trauma you put it through.
and if you are sore the best thing you can do is rest and sleep.. that will repair your body
